Youth and Age

June 25, 2009

“When alone – really alone – everyone is a child: or no one? Youth and age touch only the surface of our lives.”

- C. S. Lewis, That Hideous Strength

I wish I had remembered this quote for a new book of mine that’s coming out next month. It would have fit perfectly. But, alas, it’s too late now.

By the way, the book is not in English and will only be available in Germany. It’s called Ich, nackt im Universum (“I, Nacked in the Universe”) and consists of philosophical fiction in which several short pieces/stories are strung together by an overarching narrative.
