The Awful German Language
Yesterday, I listened to Mark Twain’s essay on the “Awful German Language.” As a professional English-German translator, I found Twain’s descriptions and examples absolutely hilarious. But I think that even people with less expertise in the subject matter will find it amusing. Here it is:
